Directions to Newport Officers Club (Phone 401-846-2515):

Be sure you have a reservation, and a picture ID, or you will not be able to enter the base.

From Providence area:  Take Rte 95 S to exit 9 (left exit) onto Rte 4.  Follow Rte 4 until after the lights and take the Jamestown/Newport exit (Rte 138).  Go over the bridges ($2.00 toll) and stay on 138 (left lane) to the Navy Base exit.  Go half-way around the rotary (the second right, between Newport Tire and the Shell station), and cross the bridge to the Navy Base.  Once you get onto the base, turn left.  Officers Club is the white building on the right.

From Boston area:  Take 24 S to end (merges onto 195 in Fall River, but get back onto 24 immediately).  At end of Rte 24, follow Rte 114 for about 7 miles.  Turn right at the light onto Admiral Kalbfus Road (Rte 138), down to the rotary.   Go half-way around the rotary (between Newport Tire and the Shell station), and cross the bridge to the Navy Base.  Once you get onto the base, turn left.  Officers Club is the white building on the right.

From SE Mass:  Take 195 to exit 8A onto Rte 24 S.
