University Society of Providence

USP is primarily a social group composed of single professionals, college graduates and others with similar interests.  We have been operating as a non-profit singles organization in Rhode Island for over fifty years. We are not a dating service but many of our members do date and quite a few have met and married within our group. 

    Our members organize and plan varied and interesting  monthly activities, including social, educational, cultural and athletic events.  These activities include dancing, house parties, special theme parties, sporting events, dine-outs, drop-ins, brunches, theater, concerts, an investment club, a film club, games,  occasional trips and much more.  A few of our activities are open to members only, but the majority are open to guests as well.  Our goal is to provide opportunities for single individuals to meet new friends and enjoy many interests and experiences in a welcoming atmosphere.
